Job summary

Qorvo in Singapore is seeking an experienced ICT Manager to lead the day-to-day ICT operations across the APAC region and manage a lean regional team.

You will balance regional business needs with global ICT requirements, drive global, regional, and local projects, and ensure service levels, KPIs, and IT compliance. The role requires a degree, 5+ years IT experience, SAP, SCCM/Intune expertise, and strong business acumen, with a proactive, collaborative mindset.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years relevant IT experience in an international service / production industry or environment.
• ICT Service Management, advanced understanding.
• Detailed SAP Knowledge, good knowledge of Microsoft SCCM and Intune.
• Possess good business acumen and service-minded.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop regional ICT operation team and manage recruitment and development.
• Drive global, regional and local IT projects and improve productivity.
• Provide ICT support, ensure SLAs, maintain KPIs and IT compliance.
• Prepare and analyze monthly KPIs, report on IT metrics and supply chain partners.
• Coordinate budgets, admin processes, and data documentation.

Job Profile

Responsible for maintaining and developing the day to day ICT operation in the regional APAC region and managing a lean regional team. Finding the right balance between regional business and global ICT requirements in order to contribute to ICT & business goals. Broad range of activities, in almost all areas of IT.

Job Requirements / Accountabilities

Manage a team of IT support specialists

• Lead and develop team, shared responsibility for recruitment, training and development.
• Coach agents, identify strengths and development opportunities
• Transfer knowledge
• Monitor quality of work

Business Partnering

• Improve business productivity
• Drive global, regional and local projects

ICT Support

• Provide support, service and solutions to the business according to service level agreements
• Maintain KPI’s
• IT compliance matters

Reporting

• Prepare, compose and analyze critical monthly management information on key performance indicators
• Report on KPI
• Report on supply chain partner
• Trend analysis

Administration

• Coordinate, execute, maintain and or improve administrative activities and systems, in line with internal requirements
• Define yearly budget and manage the budget
• Document and coordinate data on customer requirements
• Record required data in the (sub)system(s) such as Topdesk
• Time registration

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional work experience is required.
• Minimum 5 years relevant IT experience in an international service / production industry or environment.
• ICT Service Management, advanced understanding
• Detailed SAP Knowledge, good knowledge of Microsoft SCCM and Intune
• Possess good business acumen and service-minded

Duties/Responsibilities

• Seek ways to leverage emerging technology that will allow Qorvo to increase productivity while reducing hardware and software acquisition costs

Analyze, document, plan, and coordinate application and operating system implementations, updates, and upgrades

Diagnose and resolve unique, nonrecurring problems associated with application software and operating systems, determine the source of problems and classify their level, priority and nature

Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones and other computer and telecommunications equipment

Install and support PC, laptop, tablet and mobile hardware and software

Install and maintain highly available infrastructure for a virtualized environment enterprise

Support DR with Site Recovery Manager (SRM)

Deploy virtual machines and automate processes

Allocate storage as required for virtualized environments

Install, maintain, and improve network infrastructure

Work closely with other admins on new implementations as well as maintaining the current environments

Provide additional support when necessary for backup and storage functions

Participates in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage of critical systems

Create alternative methods of completing tasks, correcting user errors and system inconsistencies to improve the desktop team function

Document procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, installation sequences, back-out instructions, and risk mitigation

Support a program of change to meet business needs

Develop positive working relationships with a wide range of internal and external people

Skills

Proventrack record in identifying and resolving problems, risks, and issues

Experience with successfully implementing enterprise-class tools is desired

Expertisewith Cisco and HP network equipment and command line

Familiarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts

Must be self-motivated

Competent and proficient understanding of various hardware and software platforms including desktop operating systems

Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Flexible during times of change
