Job summary

ALLIED SEARCH PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Senior IT Manager to deliver operational technical support across enterprise platforms and databases, handling incident resolution, feature rollouts, and routine troubleshooting.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders to translate workflows into robust specifications and data structures, architect data models, and drive release lifecycles while overseeing security controls, audits, and business continuity planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in enterprise application support, database administration, or systems engineering.
• Experience with core enterprise platforms such as SICS or SAP analytics/BI is advantageous.
• Strong SQL scripting and relational database management skills.
• Experience with data architecture, schema design, and SQL performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver operational technical support across enterprise platforms and databases, handling incident resolution, feature rollouts, and routine troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to convert operational workflows into robust functional specifications and data structures.
• Architect, refine, and maintain data models to facilitate reporting and data warehousing.
• Drive system release lifecycles, including database migrations, application patches, and version upgrades.
• Oversee access governance, user permissions, and security controls across internal systems.
• Lead end-to-end QA, functional validation, and performance testing ahead of production deployments.
• Continuously monitor database health, troubleshoot latency/bottlenecks, and implement indexing or query optimization strategies.
• Partner with compliance teams to facilitate internal/external IT audits and maintain Business Continuity Planning (BCP) readiness.
• Provide secondary infrastructure and systems support as needed to ensure high operational availability.

Requirements

• Solid technical proficiency in MS SQL Server, scripting, and relational database management.
• Demonstrated expertise in data architecture, schema design, and SQL query performance optimization.
