Job summary

Avensys is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer in Singapore for a 12‑month contract to join a system infrastructure team. You will support operations, maintenance, and R&D to continually improve the AFC infrastructure, including on‑premise environments and Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC).

You will manage Red Hat Linux and Windows systems, and work with middleware like WebSphere. Relevant certifications and 3+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data communications or computer science (or diploma with relevant experience).
• System Engineer certification in Red Hat Linux and/or Microsoft including Cloud.
• Minimum 3 years system administration experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Robust troubleshooting skills with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of Red Hat Linux scripting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain on‑premise infrastructure and GCC cloud environments.
• Provide provisioning, installation/configuration, and maintenance of systems hardware and software.
• Support the AFC infrastructure and related systems.
• Participate in R&D to drive continual infrastructure innovation.
• Ensure systems adhere to organizational standards and security practices.
