Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking an IT governance and compliance professional in Singapore. You will collaborate with stakeholders to implement data governance, compliance policies, and IT access controls while supporting IT audit activities and system support.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 1–2 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities. Office-based position with potential after-hours support.

Responsibilities

Data Compliance

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to establish practical and effective data governance and compliance processes.
• Support management in developing and implementing new data governance and compliance initiatives.
• Engage relevant stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of new policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Provide guidance to company's staff on data governance, research, and compliance-related matters.
• Review and assess company's research and non-research requests to ensure compliance with applicable to company's policies and requirements.

User Access Governance

• Assist in establishing and reviewing IT procedures to ensure appropriate controls are in place and aligned with the organisation's IT governance framework.
• Support the implementation of user access policies and procedures through effective stakeholder engagement.
• Facilitate periodic reviews and updates of the organisation-wide System Role-Based Access Matrix.
• Support the resolution and processing of ID and user access requests relating to clinical applications and research projects.

IT Audit Management

• Assist in developing risk-based IT audit workplans and defining audit scopes in consultation with the department.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure audit activities address significant organisational risks and are completed within the required timelines.
• Monitor and follow up on management action plans arising from identified control gaps and audit findings.
• Coordinate with the departments Office to prepare and provide IT audit artefacts, evidence, and supporting documentation requested by auditors.
• Support ad hoc projects, including investigations, policy and procedure reviews, and training initiatives.

IT Systems Support

• Engage relevant stakeholders to support system troubleshooting, feedback management, and requirements gathering.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate the timely resolution of system issues and service requests.
• Monitor system-related issues, track follow-up actions, and elevate matters where necessary.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), system enhancement reviews, and validation of system changes where applicable.
• Maintain relevant documentation, user guides, and support records to facilitate effective system support and knowledge sharing.
• Provide IT systems support outside normal office hours, including weekends, when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 1-2 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in IT management, healthcare, business analysis, audit, or compliance will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of IT governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) principles .
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, tracking, and monitoring purposes.
• Meticulous, analytical, and detail-oriented, with strong logical thinking and process flow skills.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, written, and interpersonal skills .
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and timelines, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to provide after-office-hours and weekend support when required.
