Job summary

OHM ENGINEERING PTE LTD is seeking an IT applications support professional to provide technical and functional assistance, participate in project implementations, and liaise with users and IT vendors for timely delivery of IT solutions.

The role involves requirement analysis, change impact assessments, and developing guidelines and procedures, with opportunities to contribute to BI solutions and disaster recovery planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical/functional support and project implementation for IT applications, where applicable.
• Liaise with users and IT vendors for the delivery of IT solutions and services.
• Perform requirement analysis and prepare detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Perform impact and risk analysis for change request.
• Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes.
• Assist in maintenance of IT Application’s databases or interfaces, if feasible.
• Assist in minor development of Application and/or Business Intelligent solutions/reports, if feasible.
• Develop IT guidelines and procedures.
• Provide basic guidance and IT training to end-users, which exclude end-user functional usage of ERP/HR system and typical Microsoft Office usage.
• Facilitate & carry out major IT application changes in accordance to the change management process, where applicable.
• Facilitate IT application issues in accordance to the Incident management process.
• Request for quotations for IT specific application within IT controls.
• Handle IT purchase request for IT specific application within IT controls/budget.
• Participate and/or lead IT application projects.
• Prepare IT application project documentation.
• Prepare meeting minutes
• Execute IT Disaster Recovery with reference to the Business Continuity Plan.
• Support other IT colleagues if required.
• Participate in IT audit and ensure IT compliance.
• Ability to work after office hours or weekend if required.
• Other duties as assigned by the Senior Management and IT Manager.
