Job summary

Ambition Singapore represents an established manufacturing organisation in Singapore seeking an IT ERP Engineer to oversee daily support, maintenance and improvement of enterprise applications, focusing on SAP Business One. You will work with users and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, enhance functionality, and develop operable management reports, aligning ERP/BPM with business needs.

The role offers exposure across Finance, MM, SD, and PP modules and the coordination of system enhancements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• At least 2 years of ERP admin or support experience.
• Experience with SAP Business One preferred.
• Programming experience in Python or C#.
• Knowledge of SAP FICO modules is a plus.
• Understanding of B/S and C/S architectures.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work with end users and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operation and maintenance support for ERP systems, particularly SAP Business One and its core modules.
• Support key ERP modules including Finance, Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, and Production Planning.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for BPM and other enterprise business applications.
• Develop operational and management reports to support business and management requirements.
• Work closely with business departments and key users to understand and resolve system issues.
• Coordinate bug fixes, system enhancements, and functional optimisation activities.
• Support follow-up business requirements and continuous system improvements.
• Troubleshoot application issues and conduct independent problem analysis.
• Prepare and maintain standardised system and technical documentation.

Our client is an established organisation within the manufacturing industry and is currently looking for an IT ERP Engineer to join their team in Singapore. The role will focus on the daily support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of enterprise business applications, particularly ERP and BPM systems. The successful candidate will work closely with key users and business stakeholders to troubleshoot system issues, support business requirements, enhance system functionality, and develop operational and management reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management, Computer Applications, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in ERP system administration, maintenance, or application support.
• Experience with SAP Business One or other relevant ERP platforms is preferred.
• Knowledge or experience in Finance/FICO-related ERP modules will be a strong advantage.
• Hands-on software development experience with at least one programming language, such as Python or C#.
• Good understanding of B/S and C/S application architectures.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work closely with end users, key users, and business stakeholders.
• Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and customer service orientation.
