Job summary

Argyll Scott Asia is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee cross-divisional technology initiatives across Asia within a leading global financial services organisation. The role focuses on Equities and Sales & Trading, delivering end-to-end projects with governance and risk controls.

You will drive business analysis, feasibility, delivery and implementation while leveraging AI, GenAI, automation and data analytics to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in IT Project Management within Financial Services or related consulting.
• Strong experience delivering technology projects for Sales & Trading or Equities is preferred.
• Good understanding of technology delivery, data flows, system integration and SDLC/PLC.
• Experience with AI, GenAI, automation or data analytics in an enterprise environment is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage technology projects across Asia, supporting Sales & Trading / Equities businesses.
• Lead business analysis, feasibility assessments and project delivery from initiation through implementation.
• Partner with business, technology and product teams to manage a portfolio of technology initiatives.
• Deliver business expansion, regulatory change and product-related technology projects.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance and Control on front-to-back delivery and testing.

• IT Project Manager – Asia Cross-Divisional Programs
• Contract Duration: 12 months, with potential for extension

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join a regional technology team within a leading global financial services organisation. The role will support technology initiatives across Asia, partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders across the Equities / Sales & Trading environment.

The role will involve managing technology projects across the full project lifecycle, including business analysis, feasibility assessment, delivery, governance and implementation. The successful candidate will also contribute to initiatives leveraging AI, GenAI, automation and data analytics to improve business outcomes and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage technology projects supporting Sales & Trading / Equities businesses across Asia.
• Lead business analysis, feasibility assessments and project delivery from initiation through implementation.
• Partner with business, technology and product teams to manage a portfolio of technology initiatives.
• Deliver business expansion, regulatory change and product-related technology projects.

Requirements

• 8+ years' experience in IT Project Management within Financial Services, Investment Banking or a major consulting firm.
• Strong experience managing technology projects within financial services, ideally supporting Sales & Trading or Equities.
• Good understanding of technology delivery, data flows, system integration and SDLC/PLC.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and process improvement capabilities.
• Experience with AI, GenAI, automation or data analytics in an enterprise environment is advantageous.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, changing priorities and complex/ambiguous requirements.
• Strong proficiency in MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint.

Desirable Experience

• Knowledge of Asian financial markets and exchanges and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Experience across Equities, Derivatives and/or Securities Lending.
• Experience delivering large-scale regulatory change programmes within capital markets.
• Previous experience working within a global bank, investment bank or financial services consultancy.
