Job summary

SBS Transit Limited is seeking an experienced IT Project Leader to drive end-to-end delivery of applications and initiatives. You will lead project teams, collaborate with business stakeholders, infrastructure, data and cybersecurity, and ensure delivery remains reliable, secure and aligned with business needs.

You will steer governance, risk management and continuous improvement while promoting modern engineering practices and value-driven technology solutions across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related discipline.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification preferred.
• 7-8 years of relevant experience in application development, management, IT project delivery.
• 3+ years of experience managing IT projects and/or leading project or application teams.
• Strong project management capabilities covering scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Good understanding of enterprise applications, system integration, APIs, databases and application architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps, CI/CD and modern application delivery practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of application projects from initiation to post-implementation support.
• Establish project scope, plans, schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables and success measures.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, changes, and decisions; drive timely resolution.
• Coordinate activities across internal teams, business stakeholders and vendors for effective implementation.
• Ensure governance, documentation, testing, operational readiness, security assessment, deployment and handover are completed.
• Take ownership of delivery outcomes and intervene when projects are at risk.
• Lead, guide and support team members in project delivery, applications support and continuous improvement.
• Assign projects and responsibilities based on priorities, workload and team capability.
• Establish clear ownership and accountability for applications and project deliverables.

JobRequirements

• Min . DegreeorDiplomainComputerScience,InformationTechnology,SoftwareEngineeringorarelateddiscipline.
