Job summary

SEARCHASIA CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced HPC/Cloud engineer to install, configure and maintain modelling and simulation software in Linux HPC environments.

The role focuses on optimizing cluster configurations, managing cloud workloads for cost efficiency, and collaborating with data scientists and engineers on scalable simulation and AI workloads. Qualifications

• Experience with Linux/HPC administration and troubleshooting of cluster systems.
• Ability to support engineering/scientific applications and user communities.
• Practical experience with cloud infrastructure or cloud operations.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, deploy and maintain modelling, simulation and scientific software applications across Linux-based HPC environments.
• Optimise cluster configurations and computing resources to improve application performance, scalability and processing efficiency.
• Manage reliable and secure HPC workloads within cloud environments, ensuring appropriate capacity, availability and cost optimisation.
• Partner with data scientists and engineers to deploy and support scalable simulation, modelling and AI workloads.
• Manage commercial software licences and work with infrastructure teams on connectivity and integration with licence servers and related technologies.
• Apply network and cloud security best practices while monitoring and automating cluster operations, including Slurm workload management
• Provide technical guidance, maintain system documentation and drive improvements through emerging HPC, cloud and R&D application technologies.
