Job summary

THE HR ECOLOGY PTE. LTD. is seeking an IT Helpdesk Tier 1 professional in the Suntec area, Singapore. The role involves receiving requests by phone, email, chat, or walk-ins and providing first-line support for Windows, M365, AD basics, and remote desktop tools.

You will log, categorize, and document issues, perform basic troubleshooting, and escalate complex cases with proper documentation while keeping users informed throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory basics.
• Familiar with remote desktop tools and basic IT troubleshooting.
• Ability to log, categorize, and document user requests clearly.

Responsibilities

• Incident Triage: Receive, log, and categorize incoming requests via phone, email, chats or walk ins.
• Basic Troubleshooting: Resolve common issues, including passwords, connectivity, VPN, and software updates.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions within ticketing systems or Excel.
• Escalation: Identify complex issues and escalate to Tier 2 or Tier 3 with clear steps taken.
• User Communication: Provide regular updates to users regarding the status of their requests.

Core Responsibilities

• Incident Triage: Receive, log, and categorize incoming requests via phone, email, chats or walk ins.
• Basic Troubleshooting: Resolve common issues, including: Password resets and account unlock requests. Connectivity issues (Wi‑Fi, VPN, printer mapping). Basic software installations and updates. O365, Teams and SharePoint issues. Hardware peripheral troubleshooting (Laptops, Desktops monitors, mice, keyboards).
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed records of issues and resolutions within the ticketing system/excel format to build a knowledge base.
• Escalation: Identify complex issues that cannot be solved at the Tier 1 level and escalat[e] them to Tier 2 (Desktop Support) or Tier 3 (System/Network Administrators) with clear documentation of steps already taken.
• User Communication: Provide regular updates to users regarding the status of their requests, ensuring they feel supported throughout the process.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with Windows operating systems,Microsoft 365, Active Directory (basic tasks), and remote desktop tools.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for Hardware issue sand liaise with respective service providers.
• Understand the meeting schedules and provide necessary stand by support for those meetings.
• Basic knowledge in handling iPhones for configuring outlook, teams and other office apps.
