Job summary

Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) in Singapore is seeking a policy and strategy professional to shape the country’s IA/IP landscape. The role focuses on market enablers, IA/IP valuation, and cross-agency collaboration to grow IP assets for business growth.

You will engage with government and industry partners, develop policy recommendations, and lead international thought leadership in IP commercialization and financing, supporting Singapore’s ambition to be a global IA/IP hub.

Qualifications

• Typically 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably in taxation, finance, innovation, intellectual property, consulting or public policy.
• Good understanding of international taxation and/or financial markets, with experience in tax or finance-related roles being an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into practical policy or programme recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the Singapore IP Strategy 2030.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and ecosystem development.
• Develop initiatives relating to IA/IP market enablers (disclosure, valuation, taxation, financing).
• Foster international collaboration and thought leadership in IP commercialization, valuation, financing and taxation policy.
• Support policy formulation and reviews through research, consultations and horizon scanning.
