Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking an Engineer, Transformation to define, drive, and deliver end-to-end Smart MRO and Shopfloor Connectivity solutions. You will deploy and manage IoT edge infrastructure, ensuring data from shopfloor assets flows to cloud platforms and is visualized in real-time dashboards for better decision-making.

You will design user-centric software tools using Python, C++, or low-code platforms, and explore AR/VR or computer vision to overlay digital data onto operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Aviation MRO, Manufacturing, or Industrial Automation environments.
• Proficient in Python or C++ for software/application development.
• Strong understanding of Modbus TCP/RTU, OPC UA, MQTT industrial protocols.

Responsibilities

• IoT Infrastructure, Edge & Shopfloor Connectivity.
• Deploy, maintain, and support edge devices, sensors, and industrial networks across shopfloor and facilities.
• Onboard new machines and facilities onto the IoT platform and ensure reliable data flow to cloud.
• Develop real-time dashboards and applications to visualize shopfloor data.
• Build tools to connect shopfloor workflows with higher IT/OT systems.
• Explore AR/VR or computer vision to overlay IoT data on operations.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot end-to-end data flow issues.
