Job summary

PASONA SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in Singapore West is seeking an IoT Engineer to design, develop and maintain IoT and edge computing solutions connecting manufacturing equipment, sensors and devices to data systems.

You will work hands-on with ESP32, Raspberry Pi, MQTT, RS232/RS422, TCP/IP and Python for integration, data processing and automation in a cleanroom environment. The role involves deployment, testing and collaboration with production, maintenance and software teams.

Qualifications

2+ years in IoT/embedded systems preferred.
Proficient in Python and Raspberry Pi.
Experience with device communication techs like MQTT, RS232/RS422, TCP/IP.
Ability to read hardware datasheets.

Responsibilities

Design and develop IoT systems, including hardware selection, software integration and scalability.
Implement and optimize microcontrollers, sensors, and edge devices for connectivity.
Develop data collection, processing and secure transmission pipelines between IoT devices and systems.
Identify and troubleshoot IoT systems to improve performance, reliability and uptime.
Conduct testing and validation of IoT systems and components.
Collaborate with software and maintenance engineers.
Gather user requirements and translate into scalable IoT solutions.
Take on additional tasks as required by supervisor.
