Job summary

PASSONA SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an IoT Engineer to develop and maintain IoT and edge computing solutions that connect manufacturing equipment, sensors, and devices to downstream data systems.

You will work with ESP32, Raspberry Pi, sensors, and protocols like MQTT, TCP/IP, and RS232/RS422 using Python for integration, data processing and automation. You will deploy, test, troubleshoot, and maintain reliable connected systems in a manufacturing environment, collaborating with production,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IoT/embedded experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Hands-on with microcontrollers, SBCs and sensors.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop IoT systems, including hardware selection, software integration and scalability.
• Implement and optimize microcontrollers, sensors, and edge devices for reliable connectivity.
• Develop data pipelines for collection, processing, and secure transmission between IoT devices and systems.
• Improve, manage and troubleshoot existing IoT systems for performance and uptime.
• Test and validate IoT systems and components for functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with software and maintenance teams across disciplines.
• Translate user requirements into practical, scalable IoT solutions.
• Take on additional tasks as required by the supervisor.
