ScienTec Consulting Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Operations Support Engineer in Singapore to provide both frontend application and backend system support for enterprise smart systems including IIoT, video and web-based apps.

You will troubleshoot, monitor, patch, and ensure security compliance while coordinating with vendors to keep systems stable and available. The role covers day-to-day application and system support with strong emphasis on incident investigation, access management, and maintaining

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
Experience in application/production/system operations support.
Hands-on experience with both frontend and backend systems.
Strong troubleshooting across apps, servers, databases, and integrations.
Familiar with Windows/Linux servers, SQL databases, and log monitoring.
Knowledge of patching, vulnerability management and access control.
Experience coordinating with vendors for incidents or maintenance.
Good communication and stakeholder management.
Ability to work independently and coordinate cross-team resolution.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day frontend and backend application/system support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Investigate application errors, system issues, user-reported incidents and service disruptions.
Monitor application, server and system logs to identify operational or security issues.
Support backend infrastructure, application servers, databases and system integrations.
Support frontend/web applications and troubleshoot user-facing application issues.
Monitor system availability, performance and overall operational health.
Coordinate system patching, vulnerability remediation and security-related activities.
Manage user accounts, access reviews, permissions and account hygiene.
Track software licences, certificates, subscriptions and renewal timelines.
Monitor EOS/EOL timelines and coordinate vendor activities for maintenance.
Review maintenance and system performance reports against SLAs/KPIs.
Support Change Requests, system upgrades, deployments and configuration changes.
Maintain technical documentation and maintenance records.
Assist with system risk assessments, audits and ICT/security compliance.
Support data retention activities and system decommissioning.
