Job summary

InternSG in Singapore seeks a Computer Engineer Intern or Electrical & Electronics Intern to bridge hardware and software, developing and supporting scalable applications that communicate with IoT devices.

You will work across the stack, from sensors and field instruments to cloud platforms, databases, and dashboards, gaining hands-on experience with instrumentation, data acquisition, and monitoring systems while collaborating with senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer/Instrumentation/Electrical & Electronics)
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply; relevant experience is a plus
• Basic knowledge of instrumentation systems, sensors, data loggers, and monitoring equipment
• Familiarity with industrial protocols (Modbus, RS-485, MQTT, TCP/IP) or similar
• Experience or interest in web development using React, Vue.js, Python, Node.js
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites when required

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and monitoring systems
• Connect data loggers and sensors to platforms using Modbus, MQTT, TCP/IP
• Support deployment, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting at project sites
• Build and enhance web apps and dashboards using React/Vue.js
• Assist backend development with Python/Node.js
• Develop RESTful APIs using FastAPI/Express.js
• Handle data management across SQL/NoSQL databases
• Prepare technical reports and calibration records
• Collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders
• Support remote monitoring infrastructure and ensure data integrity
