Job summary

AVPN Limited is seeking an Associate Director, Investments to drive engagement across the portfolio and advance AVPN’s investment mandate in Asia. You will manage relationships with foundations, family offices, private equity, and corporates; align them around ESG/SDG-aligned opportunities; and scale operations from education to deal sourcing and due diligence.

You will work to expand AVPN’s investments knowledge base, represent AVPN at regional events, and collaborate with the Comms & Content

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, sustainability or related field (master’s/CFA preferred).
• 6–9 years of experience in investments, finance, or related field.
• Experience across investment spectrum: education, deal sourcing, due diligence, ESG/SDG strategy.
• Familiarity with SE Asia and/or NE Asia investment landscapes; existing regional relationships a plus.
• Strong relationship management with senior stakeholders across investor, corporate, and civil society.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to synthesize complex information.
• Comfortable with CRM discipline and pipeline management.
• International outlook and cross-cultural working experience.
• Deep alignment with AVPN's mission and role of capital in social change.

Responsibilities

• Drive investments engagement across AVPN’s portfolio, building trusted relationships with members and stakeholders across the investment spectrum.
• Develop understanding of stakeholders' investment theses and strategic priorities; position AVPN as a credible partner.
• Support members in education, strategy, deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring.
• Facilitate connections between social enterprises and ESG-aligned opportunities with global partners.
• Own client servicing and relationship management for Vantage and prospective members to drive renewals and upgrades.
• Contribute to implementation of AVPN's investments strategy across SEA and NEA markets.
• Identify opportunities for new programming, partnerships, and member engagement in the region.
• Represent AVPN at investment events and ecosystem gatherings; build investments knowledge base.
• Provide timely intelligence on regulatory shifts, market developments, and opportunities relevant to AVPN stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Comms & Content on investment thought leadership and materials.
• Maintain Salesforce with accurate records; participate in pipeline reviews and reporting.
• Meet targets for member engagement, programme participation, and portfolio growth.
• Support Director of Investments with operational and strategic planning as the practice scales.
