Job summary

GIC, a leading global long-term investor, seeks an Associate in Global Investment Operations within GIS. You will support private markets investments, oversee lifecycle activities with outsourced providers, and ensure accurate IBOR reporting.

The role emphasizes data analytics, automation, and strong stakeholder collaboration. We rotate across adjacent functions after 12–18 months, including Portfolio Investment Finance, Investment & Deal Execution, and Market Operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor in Accounting or Finance or related discipline.
3–5 years of experience in fund accounting, financial controllership, investment operations, or audit of asset managers, with exposure to private markets.
Familiarity with private market investments and outsourced service providers is desirable.
Hands-on experience with data and automation tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL or Python) and interest in applying AI to operational review.

Responsibilities

Oversee the deal life cycle from deal closing to outsourced service provider.
Monitor outsourced operations performance to meet SLAs.
Identify and resolve operational issues with providers.
Run assurance oversight on funding, transaction recording and valuations using tech tools.
Collaborate with deal teams, transaction managers and external counterparties.
