Our Global Investment Services (GIS) team provides strategic investment services and financial management across GIC’s public and private market asset classes, leveraging data and emerging technologies to deliver operational excellence.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with investment teams and the technology group to enable scalable and agile front‑mid‑back operations support for investments across a global portfolio. You will manage a diverse array of asset classes, including equities, fixed income, currencies, and commodities, in both cash and derivative format.
The team’s responsibilities span securities operations, derivative operations, corporate action, collateral operations, custody operations, and network management. The group is committed to enhancing capabilities through robust governance, controls, and digitized processes and platforms.
Support Trading Activities for Derivative Asset Classes: Ensure timely and accurate processing of trades across OTC and exchange‑traded derivatives, including trade confirmations, settlements, and asset servicing. Maintain sufficient funding and compliance with internal and custodian bank cut‑off times across global markets.
Service Management: Collaborate with counterparties, brokers, and service providers to resolve operational issues and monitor service levels, ensuring adherence to internal standards and market best practices.
Operational Efficiency and Risk Reduction: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and control, strengthening processes to minimize operational risks and maintain robust governance and compliance standards.
System Enhancements and AI Integration: Participate in system upgrades, automation initiatives, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Leverage technology and AI‑driven tools to streamline workflows, improve data accuracy, and enhance overall operational effectiveness.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with traders, portfolio managers, and cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless trade support and effective communication across departments.
New Product and Market Implementation: Support the evaluation and onboarding of new derivative products and market access opportunities, ensuring smooth integration into existing operational frameworks.
