Job summary

Argyll Scott Singapore is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to support data, analytics and reporting initiatives within the Asset Management business. This hands-on role sits at the intersection of business, investments, data and technology.

You will partner with stakeholders, translate requirements into data and reporting solutions, work with data engineers, model data, design Power BI dashboards, and help ensure data accuracy and governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar business/data-facing role.
• Experience in the asset management space.
• Strong hands-on SQL skills with the ability to analyse complex datasets.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard design and data visualisation.
• Good understanding of modern data platforms, as well as data models, architecture and integration concepts.
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation capabilities
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, challenges and opportunities across investment and operational processes.
• Gather, document and translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows and data/reporting requirements.
• Work closely with Data Architects and Data Engineers on data design, integration and scalable reporting solutions.
• Support data modelling, mapping, business rules and data lineage activities.
• Develop and recommend reporting and visualisation solutions
• Analyse complex datasets using to support business and reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
• Support UAT, defect triage and business sign-off for new solutions and enhancements.
