Job summary

Argyll Scott in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to drive data, analytics and reporting within the Asset Management business. This hands-on role sits at the intersection of business, investments, data and technology, collaborating with stakeholders, data engineers and architects to translate requirements into data and reporting solutions.

You will gather requirements, document specifications, model data, support data integration, and develop reporting using Power BI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar data-facing role.
• Experience in the asset management space.
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation capabilities.
• Hands-on SQL and data analysis skills.
• Power BI dashboard design and data visualization experience.
• Understanding of data platforms, models, architecture and integration concepts.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, challenges and opportunities across investment and operational processes.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows and data/reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with Data Architects and Data Engineers on data design, integration and scalable reporting solutions.
• Support data modelling, mapping, business rules and data lineage activities.
• Develop and recommend reporting and visualization solutions.
• Analyse complex datasets to support business and reporting needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
• Support UAT, defect triage and business sign-off for new solutions and enhancements.
