Job summary

  • Technical Presentations: prepare and deliver technical presentations to local and global teams.

Job description

The student, as part of the Material innovation team and under the guidance of an assigned mentor, will evaluate novel materials to improve the performance of semiconductor product.

Your Role
  • Literature Review: Conduct a comprehensive literature review on specific domains of polymers used in electronic packaging.
  • DOE Planning & Execution: Plan and conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) to support research and development objectives.
  • Material Characterization: Perform material characterization and product-level evaluation to assess performance and quality.
  • Experimental Analysis: Identify and investigate different influential factors within the experimental setup to drive insights and improvements.
  • Technical Presentations: Prepare and deliver technical presentations to both local and global teams.
Internship Learning Outcomes
  • Materials Knowledge: Gain foundational understanding of materials used in semiconductor packaging, with a focus on polymers.
  • DOE Planning Skills: Develop practical skills in designing and executing structured experiments (DOE) for research purposes.
  • Material Analysis Capabilities: Build hands‑on experience in material analysis and characterization techniques.
  • Presentation & Communication: Strengthen technical presentation skills through exposure to local and global team communications.
Your Profile
  • Laboratory Experience: Basic hands‑on experience in polymer or chemistry lab environments, particularly with formulations.
  • Material Characterization Knowledge: Familiarity with material characterization techniques and methodologies.
  • Data & Software Skills: Proficiency in data analytics and basic software tools relevant to research and reporting.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and professionally.
