Job summary

OCBC Bank in Singapore is offering a Financial Control & Financial Management Intern role within the Operations & Technology division. You will support invoice processing, verify documents, and assist with reconciliations and reporting alongside procurement, operations, and technology teams.

This internship focuses on attention to detail, foundational accounting principles, and developing communication and problem-solving skills, with exposure to Oracle Cloud and internal controls.

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Invoice Processing: support accurate and timely processing of invoices per policy.
  • Financial Verification: review invoices and documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • System Administration: assist with posting invoices in Oracle Cloud.
  • Reconciliation & Reporting: assist with account reconciliations and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: liaise with internal partners and external vendors on queries.
  • Process Improvement: contribute to initiatives to improve efficiency and controls.

You'll work closely with team members and stakeholders across procurement, Operations, and Technology functions to ensure invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Your ability to communicate effectively, stay organised, and apply sound accounting principles will be crucial in supporting day-to-day financial operations and maintaining financial integrity.What You DoYour responsibilities will include:Invoice Processing: support the accurate and timely processing of invoices in accordance with financial policies and procedures.Financial Verification: review invoices and supporting documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal guidelines.System Administration: assist with posting invoices and maintaining records within Oracle Cloud.Reconciliation & Reporting: support account reconciliations, generate reports, and investigate discrepancies when required.Stakeholder Coordination: liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to address invoice-related queries and facilitate issue resolution.Process Improvement: contribute to initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and strengthen financial controls.Ad-hoc Tasks: provide support on other financial management and control activities as assigned.Who You Work WithFinancial Control & Financial Management plays an important role in supporting the financial governance and operational effectiveness of the Group Operations & Technology division.
