Job summary

WSAudiology is seeking a Simulation Intern to support product development and validation through waterproof and impact testing of hearing aids and components. The role involves analyzing test data and correlating results with CFD and mechanical simulations, while contributing to simulation methodology development in cross-functional projects.

You will work with a global team to drive innovation in assistive technology, gaining hands-on experience in testing, data analysis, and simulation tools

Qualifications

• Currently an undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering.
• Familiarity with simulation and CAD tools, as well as Vibe Coding tools.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Passion for creating positive impact through technology in assistive technology or the medical device industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct waterproof testing on parts and hearing aids using contact angle goniometer or sweat dripping setups; correlate results with CFD Volume-of-Fluid simulations
• Conduct hearing aid impact testing using Pendulum or Heina Drop Testers for product design validation; correlate results with mechanical simulations
• Support forefront simulation methodology and validation projects, including material characterisation.
