Key Roles And Responsibilities

You will be interning and supporting the Gas & Related Services Centre of Excellence department which looks at Operations & Maintenance related aspects of Sembcorp's Gas Asset Portfolio.

You will be exposed to various aspects of our typical R&R covers:

• Performance Monitoring & Analysis
  • Oversee and monitor the performance of all operational assets to ensure they meet and exceed industry standards.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop strategies to optimize plant operations and equipment utilization to maximize output and reduce downtime.
• Reliability Management
  • Lead efforts to enhance the reliability of all assets by identifying and mitigating risks that could lead to equipment failure or downtime.
  • Implement best practices for predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure proper implementation of reliability programs.
• Reporting & Data Analytics
  • Prepare and present comprehensive performance and reliability reports to senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and provide actionable insights to support decision‑making.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and other reporting tools to track and communicate performance metrics and reliability trends.
• Continuous Improvement & Best Practices
  • Lead and participate in O&M excellence initiatives to drive continuous improvement in operational performance, reliability, and reporting.
  • Stay up‑to‑date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to ensure the organization is at the forefront of best practices.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, reliability audits, and assessments to ensure compliance with established standards.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Background in Business Analytics, Engineering, or equivalent
• Comfortable to work with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power Query/Power BI, for data analysis and presentation preparation.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills in maintaining orderly work, attention to detail in delivery of high‑quality work timely.
• Displays proactiveness and curiosity to learn from stakeholders leveraging strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
• Competence in preparing and delivering high‑quality presentations
