Job summary

Sembcorp Industries Ltd in Singapore is seeking a junior professional to join LNG bunkering and supply chain operations. This role provides a foundation in Singapore’s energy market and commercial operations through structured learning and on-the-job exposure, coordinating with LNG suppliers, vessel crews, and service providers to ensure smooth cargo handling.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Maritime Studies, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Energy Studies or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate LNG bunkering activities with SLNG, vessels, surveyors, and service providers.
• Schedule terminal berth slots and support cargo unloading/reloading activities in accordance with terminal procedures and S&R TUA requirements.
• Monitor LNG inventory and perform inventory reconciliation.
• Support operational nominations, confirmations, and scheduling activities.
• Work alongside counterparties at their offices when operationally required.
• Maintain operational records, systems, and management reports.
• Support audit, compliance, and documentation requirements.
• Work closely with Finance, Procurement, Billing, Compliance, and Commercial teams.
• Drive process improvements, digitalization initiatives, and system enhancements.
• Support operational duty roster to ensure 24/7 business continuity.
