CapitaLand Group invites university students to join our investment management team in Singapore as an internship. You will build financial models, draft investment narratives, and support due diligence and reporting.

This hands-on role offers exposure to acquisition processes, asset performance analysis, and market research across global real estate trends, with mentoring and opportunities to contribute to investment memorandums.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Management, Real Estate, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Ability to analyse data and financial reports to inform investment decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication for preparing reports, presentations, and emails.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Gain hands‑on experience building and maintaining complex financial models to support acquisition, divestment, and asset enhancement initiatives.
• Develop investment narratives and presentations for internal stakeholders to assist in the investment management lifecycle.
• Support the investment team through the end‑to‑end transaction lifecycle, contributing to due diligence, valuation exercises, KYC and investment memorandums.
• Conduct in‑depth research on global real estate market trends, property values, and competitor landscapes.
• Assist in monitoring asset performance metrics, cash flow projections and competitor analysis to provide data‑driven insights to optimize portfolio management.
• Assist in any other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Degree in Business Management, Real Estate, Finance, or any other related disciplines
• Ability to analyse data and financial reports to inform investment decisions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, presentations, and succinct emails
• Meticulousness in reviewing documents and data to ensure accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office i.e. Excel for real estate financial modeling; PowerPoint in crafting compelling and succinct narratives for investments
