Job summary

WSA is seeking a motivated Information Security Risk & Compliance Intern to join our Global Information Security team in Singapore. You will gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance, and security controls while supporting governance, compliance, risk, and assurance activities.

The role is ideal for students interested in cybersecurity, information security, GRC, audit, and IT controls, with exposure to ISO 27001 frameworks, audits, and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Minor in cybersecurity or related field; studying Information Security, IT Audit, or Risk Management would help.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Interest in cybersecurity, risk management, audit, and compliance.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative skills.
• Clear communication and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support security control assessments, reviews, and effectiveness evaluations aligned with ISO 27001 and other applicable frameworks.
• Review, validate, and organize compliance and audit evidence to support internal and external audits.
• Support GRC operations, including monitoring requests, maintaining records, and tracking remediation activities in the GRC platform.
• Assist with audit readiness, compliance reporting, dashboards, management presentations, and documentation updates.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on assessments, findings, and corrective actions, and support ad hoc Security Risk & Compliance initiatives.

As a motivated Information Security Risk & Compliance Intern, you will be joining our Global Information Security team.
