Job summary

WS Audiology is seeking a Finance System Excellence Intern to support IFRS consolidation and timely financial reporting. You will help harmonize Chart of Accounts, Cost Centres, ETL setups, and reporting structures across the group.

You will assist with year-end processes, data reconciliation, and system change requests, while partnering with Shared Services to ensure accuracy and data integrity in a global ERP landscape.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting or related fields.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Intermediate Excel proficiency; PowerPoint a plus.
• Good analytical and interpersonal skills; team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor month-end closing progress and coordinate with countries.
• Assist entity migration for smooth consolidation.
• Support IT audits and ensure documentation is up to date.
• Assist year-end closing activities including postings and mappings.
• Reconcile data from Data Warehouse and support ad-hoc projects.

As a Finance System Excellence Intern, you will support the consolidation and reporting system to meet Group requirements for IFRS financial statement consolidation and ensure accurate, timely reporting to both internal and external stakeholders. You will assist in the harmonization of the Chart of Accounts, Cost Centres, ETL file setups, and reporting structures. This role plays a key part in managing system change requests and mitigating bottlenecks ahead of year-end, helping to ensure data integrity across financial systems.

What you will do

• Monitor month-end closing progress by tracking submissions, addressing Data Monitor errors, supporting the reopen process, and coordinating with countries and Shared Services
• Assist in entity migration activities to ensure smooth transitions and accurate financial consolidation
• Support audit preparation by compiling required documentation for quarterly and yearly IT audits, and ensuring process documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date
• Assist with year-end closing activities, including year-end postings (e.g., reopens, tax, transfer pricing), preparing Chart of Accounts and Cost Center mappings, and reconciling opening balances for non-standard ERP entities
• Support projects by reconciling imported financial data from the Data Warehouse and assisting with various ad-hoc initiatives.
