Job summary

WS Audiology in Singapore invites you to join as a Hardware Engineer (Accessories) Intern, supporting development and validation of electronic hardware for chargers, transmitters, and remotes.   • Perform product teardowns and benchmarking to analyze competitor and existing designs
  • Assist in verification activities and documentation-related tasks for hardware development
  • Work closely with firmware engineers to understand and validate hardware–firmware integration
  • Conduct hands-on work including MCU programming, PCBA rework, and soldering
  • Support documentation and compliance processes for medical-grade product requirements

As a Hardware Engineer (Accessories) Intern, you will support the development and validation of electronic hardware for accessory products such as chargers, transmitters, and remote controls. You will contribute to designing, testing, and improving charging technologies, battery systems, and low-power management solutions, while also supporting firmware integration and product verification activities. This role offers hands-on exposure to hardware design, product benchmarking, and medical-grade engineering development in a collaborative environment.

What you will do
  • Support the hardware development team in designing, testing, and validating electronic accessory products

  • Develop and apply solutions in charging technology, battery systems, and low-power management architectures

  • Perform product teardowns and benchmarking to analyze competitor and existing designs

  • Assist in verification activities and documentation-related tasks for hardware development

  • Work closely with firmware engineers to understand and validate hardware–firmware integration

  • Conduct hands-on work including MCU programming, PCBA rework, and soldering

  • Support documentation and compliance processes for medical-grade product requirements.

What you bring
  • Support order and stock commitments, including preparing recovery plans for distribution centers (DCs) and source sites

  • Assist in stock replenishment planning and execution across DCs, source sites, and regional markets

  • Monitor and follow up on material shortages, and support allocation planning to optimize supply

  • Support the execution of supply plans, including ramp-up and phase-out activities

  • Analyze planning data and processes to support operational efficiency and decision-making.
