Job summary

SATS Ltd. in Singapore invites applications for an Intern, Engineering Services (Warewash Machines Installations) at Inflight Catering Centre 1.

This internship offers hands-on exposure to installation work on warewash systems and exposure to engineering disciplines. You will assist with mechanical, electrical and plumbing connections, read drawings and manuals, participate in inspections and commissioning, and help troubleshoot issues.

Qualifications

• Familiar with reading machine layout drawings.
• Able to interpret technical manuals and installation instructions.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of Warewash machines.
• Assist with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing connections.
• Read and interpret machine layout drawings, technical manuals and installation instructions.
• Participate in pre and post installation inspections and verifications of machine components.
• Assist in trial runs, testing, calibration and commissioning of machines.
• Identify and report installation issues, abnormalities or equipment defects.
• Ensure PPE is used during installation.
• Support troubleshooting during commissioning.

• Understanding of basic machine components, tools and measuring instruments.
• Attention to details and wiliness to work in a operation environment.
• Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
• Familiar with AutoCAD.
