Job summary

CapitaLand is seeking a motivated undergraduate to join the Business Development team in Singapore. The role involves market research, analysis, and the preparation of strategic papers and pitch materials. You will support data collection, reporting, and collaboration across functions to advance development initiatives.

You will gain exposure to hospitality and real estate finance while developing strong analytical and communication skills in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Real Estate, or Hospitality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to multitask and deliver work on time and accurately.
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Possesses strong analytical skills, works well in a team, and is independent and curious.
• Interested in learning about hospitality and lodging services and real estate finance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Business Development team in market research, competitor analysis, and destination reviews to identify industry trends and generate strategic insights.
• Assist in developing business cases, feasibility studies, and strategic papers by conducting research, collecting data, and preparing supporting analyses.
• Prepare, update, and maintain pitch decks, presentations, marketing collateral, departmental reports, and approval papers to support business development initiatives.
• Collect, analyse, and synthesize information required for management reports, strategic submissions, and business proposals.
• Provide administrative support during meetings, including notetaking, documentation, and follow-up on action items.
• Support the planning and coordination of conferences, events, and industry engagements, including identifying collaboration opportunities and preparing the necessary materials, when needed.
• Provide ad hoc support to the Business Development team on special projects and cross-functional initiatives as required.
