What the role is:

Under the HDB Internship Programme, you will be attached to Design Innovation Section under Design Development Group in HDB.

What you will be working on:

You will be working on design policy initiatives and architectural design studies. In addition, you will gain exposure to how design policies shape Singapore's public housing developments, and contribute to improving how these policies are communicated to stakeholders.

Your work scope will cover the following areas:

• Conduct design studies and case study research to support policy development, including technical review of architectural issues and analysis of precedent projects
• Explore new digital platforms and communication formats for design policy dissemination, including interactive guides, visual aids and online tools that can improve accessibility and understanding of consultant teams and other stakeholders
• Attend project reviews and meetings, gaining exposure to how public housing projects are managed and the various considerations behind the real-world project implementation
