Job summary

Sembcorp Industries Ltd invites a highly motivated intern to join the Integrated Urban Solutions (IUS) Team in Singapore. You will gain hands-on exposure to system thinking and AI adoption, supporting LOB/BU initiatives under the Head of Operational Excellence.

Based in our Singapore office, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, analyze data, and contribute to operational improvements as part of a full-time internship from January to May 2027, with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Background in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent research, writing, and presentation abilities.
• Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, data visualization software).
• Strong interest in operations, system thinking and critical thinking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• System Thinking Diagnosis and Analysis: Conduct HSSE Deep Dive using STDM to identify gaps for LOB/BU support.
• IUS AI Adoption: Help improve AI adoption by managing the IUS AI portal and evaluating effectiveness.
• Operations Management: Track and monitor operations in the LOB/BU and assist in data-driven improvements.
