Job summary

MENG FIBREGLASS CONTRACTORS in Singapore seeks an experienced interior designer with 3–5 years in construction to translate design concepts into build-ready drawings. You will work with management to integrate plans on site, capture client visions, and ensure design changes are accurately reflected in detailed drawings.

You will use AutoCAD, SketchUp and other tools to develop concepts, produce 2D/3D drawings, and contribute to space planning and fixture design.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of working experience in construction and related field works.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with project management to integrate design plans into the construction process.

• Ensure all design changes are approved and reflected in detailed drawings.

• Possess excellent technical design skills for fixtures with attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience in producing detailed drawings and 3D modelling.
• Basic understanding of 3D printing, 3D scanning and CNC machining.
• Knowledge of architectural production standards, detailing, materials, codes and construction.
• Good knowledge of space planning and technical design from approved design schematic.
• Creative and resourceful with an ability to think outside the box.
• Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D interior space designs aligned with project specs and client expectations.

Requirement:

• Possession of a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Building Construction, Interior Design, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
