in Singapore seeks a proactive lead interior designer to manage projects from client consultation to completion, crafting concepts and schedules while ensuring compliance with Singapore renovation regulations. You will develop design concepts, mood boards, floor plans, and 3D drawings, produce precise CAD documentation, and coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and MCST/HDB paperwork to meet budget and timelines.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD or equivalent design software.
• Strong understanding of Singapore renovation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to gather requirements, budget constraints, and design preferences to develop tailored interior solutions.
• Conduct site visits to take measurements and assess space layouts for accurate design planning.
• Develop design concepts, mood boards, floor plans, and 3D drawings to visualize project proposals.
• Prepare precise CAD drawings and detailed design documentation to guide project execution.
• Source and coordinate materials, furniture, and fixtures with suppliers to meet design specifications.
• Prepare and manage quotations and invoices, ensuring transparent communication of project costs.
• Manage project timelines proactively to prevent delays and ensure smooth renovation progress.
• Coordinate with contractors and trades to align work with design plans and quality standards.
• Organize and submit all necessary paperwork, including quotations, permits, invoices, MCST and HDB forms, maintaining compliance with regulations.
• Apply knowledge of Singapore renovation regulations to ensure all projects meet legal requirements.
• Address client feedback and complaints professionally to maintain client satisfaction.
• Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with clients until project completion.
• Work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Uphold integrity in all submissions, communications, and work processes.
