Job summary

Control Risks is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to support a major media-sector client in Singapore on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will monitor sources in Asia-Pacific, gather and assess intelligence, and produce timely reports for business continuity and safety.

The role requires 2+ years in intelligence or related fields, APAC regional knowledge, and a degree in a relevant discipline. Knowledge of additional regional languages is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in intelligence, travel security, protective intelligence, security analysis, threat management or related field.
• APAC regional expertise and ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.
• Permanent right to live and work in Singapore.
• Japanese and other regional language skills would be beneficial.

We are currently looking to bring on an Intelligence Analyst to support a large media-sector client, based in Singapore. This role will be hired on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor local-language sources for events, developments and indicators that may affect personal safety or business continuity across the Asia-Pacific region.
• Gather, assess and manage intelligence on regional and global developments using internal and external sources.
• Conduct open-source research and assess the potential impact of crises on people and operations.
• Produce concise, accurate and timely intelligence reporting.
• Apply subject-matter expertise and established analytical methodologies to assess and respond to emerging risks and crises.
• Conduct due diligence research as required.

• A bachelor’s degree in history, political science, international relations, intelligence analysis, criminal justice, regional studies, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in intelligence, travel security, protective intelligence, security analysis, threat management, risk management or a related field.
• Proven ability to accurately draw conclusions by synthesizing raw data and information from multiple, unrelated sources into a finished comprehensive product.
• APAC Regional expertise.
• Japanese and other regional language skills would be beneficial.
