Job summary

Control Risks Group in Singapore is seeking an Intelligence Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on monitoring APAC sources, assessing regional and global developments, and producing timely intelligence reports to support business continuity and staff security.

The ideal candidate has a history of intelligence work, APAC regional knowledge, and language skills (Japanese beneficial). A bachelor’s degree is required and permanent right to work in Singapore is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in history, political science, international relations, intelligence analysis, criminal justice, regional studies, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in intelligence, travel security, protective intelligence, security analysis, threat management or risk management.
• Proven ability to draw conclusions by synthesizing data from multiple sources into a finished product.
• APAC regional expertise.
• Japanese and other regional language skills would be beneficial.
• Permanent right to live and work in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Monitor local-language sources for events, developments and indicators affecting safety or business continuity in Asia-Pacific.
• Gather, assess and manage intelligence on regional and global developments using internal and external sources.
• Conduct open-source research and assess the impact of crises on people and operations.
• Produce concise, accurate and timely intelligence reporting.
• Apply subject-matter expertise and analytical methodologies to assess and respond to emerging risks and crises.
• Conduct due diligence research as required.
