Control-Risks in Singapore seeks an Analyst to provide first-line support for employee travel and events through real-time monitoring, traveler assistance, horizon scanning, and technical intelligence support.

This role is part of a global 24/7 team, requiring holiday and weekend coverage as per the schedule. You will triage incidents, draft alerts, and coordinate with internal intelligence teams to ensure rapid, clear communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in history, political science, intelligence analysis, criminal justice, or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of intelligence experience or experience working in a GSOC.
  • Experience with global risk intelligence and incident response software.
  • Experience with emergency mass notification systems.
  • Experience with travel risk management software platforms.
  • Experience working in collaborative environments such as government or corporate security operations centers.
  • Experience evaluating open-source information (media, social media, unclassified government sites) for incident analysis.
  • Japanese or Chinese language fluency is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor travel-related developments impacting employees, including executives.
  • Provide first-line traveler assistance and support issue resolution.
  • Assist with coordination of secure transportation and vetted third-party vendors.
  • Support pre-trip advisories, briefings, and traveler outreach.
  • Assist with travel-related incidents and support travelers in distress.
  • Support review of upcoming events and prepare situational summaries, including geofencing and weather intelligence.
  • Conduct targeted monitoring during event windows and elevate concerns.
  • Create and manage mass-notification groups for events.
  • Monitor real-time alerts, assess relevance, and escalate per workflows.
  • Draft concise alerts, situation updates, and rapid assessments.
  • Provide on-demand support to internal intelligence teams.

Job description

Embedded within a high-profile global technology firm, the Analyst provides first-line support for employee travel and events through real-time monitoring, traveler assistance, horizon scanning, and technical intelligence support. The role focuses on rapid triage, escalation, and clear communication during developing situations.

This role will be part of a global team providing 24/7 coverage to the client. It will be a requirement to work on holidays and weekends as determined by the team coverage schedule.

  • Monitor travel-related developments impacting employees, including executives.
  • Provide first-line traveller assistance and support issue resolution.
