Job summary

Control Risks is looking to hire a Security Intelligence Analyst to support a premier client of ours. The Analyst will be a key member of the Global Security Intelligence team, helping collect, curate, and disseminate current and forecasted risk intelligence.

This role is being hired as a fixed-term contract covering the period of 12 October 2026 – 31 May 2027. Candidates should be available and able to commit to the duration of this contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in history, political science, international relations, intelligence analysis, or related discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in global risk and threat analysis.
• Experience in collection and analytical methodologies.
• Experience in editing and compiling written analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of the APAC region.
• Strong social media monitoring skills.
• Proficiency with client workspace tools; ability to present information graphically and in concise reports.
• Excellent research, analytical, writing, and verbal presentation skills.
• Ability to adapt to external environments and organization.
• Strong customer service focus and ability to build trusting relationships.
• Team player capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse geopolitical and global events to identify threats to the client’s global operations, assets, and personnel.
• Act as the subject matter expert on the APAC region.
• Provide major event safety and security assessment, forecast, and vulnerability reports.
• Conduct site and travel vulnerability assessments to ensure employee safety.
• Support location-specific intelligence, including alerts, city and country intelligence, and maps.
• Draft comprehensive, well-researched analysis products for client-specific needs.
• Define priorities for in-depth analysis of locations relevant to the client’s interests.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyse geopolitical and global events identify and assess threats the client’s specific global operations, assets, and personnel
• Act as the subject matter expert on the team for the APAC region
• Provide major event safety and security assessment, forecast, and vulnerability reports
• Conduct site and travel vulnerability assessments to ensure the safety of the client’s employees and locations
• Support location-specific intelligence, including active and archived alerts; city and country intelligence; and interactive maps
• Drafting comprehensive, well-researched, and articulate analysis products providing tailored research for client-specific needs
• Define priorities for in-depth analysis of selected locations relevant to the client’s global interests
