Job summary

Control Risks is seeking a Security Intelligence Analyst to join the Global Security Intelligence team to collect, curate, and disseminate current and forecasted risk intelligence for partners and stakeholders.

This fixed-term contract runs from 12 October 2026 to 31 May 2027. The role requires geopolitical analysis, APAC regional expertise, and strong writing and presentation skills to deliver timely, tailored research and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in history, political science, international relations, intelligence analysis, or related discipline.
• 4–6 years of global risk and threat analysis experience.
• Experience in collection and analytical methodologies.
• Experience in editing and compiling written analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of the APAC region.
• Strong understanding of social media monitoring techniques.
• Proficiency with client workspace product suites and presenting information visually.
• Excellent research, analytical, writing, and verbal presentation skills.
• Ability to adapt to external environment and organization.
• Strong customer service focus and relationship-building.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse geopolitical and global events identify and assess threats the client’s global operations, assets, and personnel
• Act as the subject matter expert on the team for the APAC region
• Provide major event safety and security assessment, forecast, and vulnerability reports
• Conduct site and travel vulnerability assessments to ensure the safety of the client’s employees and locations
• Support location-specific intelligence, including active and archived alerts; city and country intelligence; and interactive maps
• Drafting comprehensive, well-researched, and articulate analysis products providing tailored research for client-specific needs
• Define priorities for in-depth analysis of selected locations relevant to the client’s global interests

The Security Intelligence Analyst will be a key member of the Global Security Intelligence team as they help collect, curate, and disseminate current and forecasted risk intelligence in a timely manner to partners and stakeholders.

This role is being hired as a fixed-term contract covering the period of 12 October 2026 – 31 May 2027. Candidates should be available and able to commit to the duration of this contract.
