Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel in Singapore invites you to join our Freight Forwarding team. You will support transport planning, update shipment statuses, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet KPI and customer commitments.

You bring customer service or operations experience in sea- or air-freight; a 12-month fixed-term contract is offered. This role develops processes, supports documentation, and helps ensure on-time, accurate shipments for a global customer base.

Qualifications

• Relevant customer service/operations experience in sea-freight or air-freight; 4PL background is a big plus.
• This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

Responsibilities

• Keep track of daily activities and report daily status to your manager.
• Take timely proactive measures to avoid potential escalations.
• Undertake the transport planning of orders/shipments and forecasting.
• Contribute to improvement initiatives with productivity/ improvements ideas related to processes.
• Record and manage deviations/escalations in the day to day processes.
• Ensure visibility of shipments of all kinds, update and follow up on missing statuses in the system.
• Work with different stakeholders to obtain necessary information or documents related to shipment planning.
• Validate all the shipping documents and maintain records.
