Job summary

CAAS Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore seeks a strong engineer to join the Integrated Digital Tower System (IDTS) section. You will oversee lifecycle management of ATM-related systems, shape architecture and specifications, implement security controls, and work with diverse stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient air traffic operations within the Singapore FIR.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in engineering/IT related field.
• Experience in large ICT system lifecycle projects preferred.
• Knowledge of system architecture, administration, networking and cybersecurity preferred.
• Air traffic control related systems experience may be considered for higher appointment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design system architecture and formulate technical specifications for IDTS.
• Coordinate with users to gather operational requirements and ensure implementation aligns with them.
• Conduct market surveys of potential systems.
• Obtain approvals from authorities for proposed designs and specifications.
• Identify and mitigate risks impacting delivery.
• Procure and evaluate system solutions and manage IDTS cybersecurity implementations.
• Work with vendors for deployment, testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including government agencies, system suppliers and IT auditors.
• Lead internal and external audits and post-incident investigations to close security gaps.
• Manage maintenance team to uphold required service levels.
