Job summary

CAA Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to oversee the operation and maintenance of ATM support systems, ensuring high availability for ATC and safety data processes.

You will lead projects, design architectures, coordinate with vendors, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with ICAO/Eurocae standards while collaborating with multiple stakeholders across agencies and operators. Travel for overseas meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing information-centric systems.
• Proficient in system architecture design for on-prem and cloud setups.
• Familiar with cloud products/services such as AWS and Azure.
• Experience in testing and commissioning activities for complex systems.
• Experience in networking and cybersecurity compliance.
• Good communication and written skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage ATM support systems related projects, including replacement, enhancements and tech refresh upgrades.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet operational requirements.
• Design system architecture and develop technical specifications for ATM systems deployed on-site and on cloud.
• Collaborate with users and stakeholders to formulate operational, technical, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Seek approval from authorities to adopt proposed system designs and specifications.
• Formulate budgets and risk management plans; devise implementation roadmaps.
• Perform procurement activities for enhancements and upgrades, including evaluating solutions.
• Implement and deploy ATM systems with vendors, including testing and commissioning.
• Support operation and maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective tasks.
