Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Transformation Project Manager to drive end-to-end business and technology transformation initiatives within the insurance sector in Singapore. You will partner with business leaders, operations, and technology teams to ensure delivery aligns with regulatory requirements and delivers measurable outcomes.

The role covers process optimisation, change management, and technology implementation programmes, with oversight of budgets, timelines, and governance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Information Technology, Insurance, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience managing large-scale business or digital transformation programmes.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or regulated industries.
• Strong PM governance, budgeting, and delivery management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and executive reporting.
• Experience in life/general/health insurance or bancassurance environments.
• Knowledge of insurance operations, policy administration, claims, underwriting, or distribution processes.
• Experience delivering technology transformation, core system replacement, cloud migration, data, or automation initiatives.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience leading business process reengineering and change management activities.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of transformation programmes across business and technology functions.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, resources, dependencies, and governance activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule, quality, and budget requirements.
• Track project progress and provide regular reporting to senior management and project sponsors.
• Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, implementing mitigation plans.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify transformation opportunities and define target operating models.
• Drive process improvement, operational efficiency, and customer experience enhancement initiatives.
• Lead business readiness and change management activities to support adoption of new processes and technologies.
• Facilitate workshops, impact assessments, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
• Support organisational transformation, operating model redesign, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with business, operations, technology, risk, compliance, and external stakeholders.
• Act as liaison between business and project delivery teams.
• Prepare presentations, steering committee materials, and executive updates.
• Escalate issues and risks appropriately while driving timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with SMEs to translate strategic objectives into actionable deliverables.
• Support implementation of digital transformation, automation, data, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Establish effective project governance frameworks and reporting structures.
• Manage third-party vendors, system integrators, consultants, and service providers.
• Monitor vendor performance and project deliverables against commitments.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies, risk controls, and regulatory requirements.
