Job summary

Epergne Solutions seeks a Business Analyst to support General Insurance systems in Singapore. You will gather and document requirements, translate them into functional specs, and collaborate with stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver system enhancements and project objectives.

The role requires 5+ years of BA experience, a related degree, and strong SQL/Oracle skills, with familiarity with Merimen and TMOnline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within General Insurance.
• Strong understanding of General Insurance processes including claims and policy administration.
• Experience with insurance systems such as Merimen and TMOnline is preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL and Oracle Database for data extraction, analysis, and validation.
• Knowledge of VB/VBA for report automation and data processing is an advantage.
• Experience in report development, data reconciliation, and business reporting.
• Familiarity with UAT, defect management, and change management processes.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and data requirements from stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and vendors to deliver system enhancements and project objectives.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and reporting requirements.
• Support project activities, including scope management, testing, defect resolution, and post-implementation reviews.
• Provide business analysis support for General Insurance systems, including claims and policy administration processes.
• Extract, validate, analyze, and reconcile data from multiple systems to support business operations and reporting.
• Design, develop, and maintain operational, management, and ad-hoc reports, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare business documentation, process flows, and user guides while supporting continuous process improvements.
