Job summary

Persol Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a qualified accounting professional for a 3-month contract with potential conversion to permanent.

You will oversee a portfolio of clients, delivering management accounts, regulatory returns, and audited financial statements while ensuring compliance with MAS/ACRA standards. Responsibilities include client service delivery, insurance and claims accounting for captive clients, treasury management, budgeting, and statutory reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, finance, or related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CA, ACCA) preferred.
• Proven experience in client account management or financial accounting roles in captive insurance.
• Strong understanding of insurance accounting principles and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Be the main contact point for a portfolio of clients, overseeing financial management tasks and key deliverables.
• Produce management accounts, regulatory returns, and audited financial statements timely and accurately.
• Manage client relationships and ensure service excellence.
• Interpret MAS/ACRA regulations and keep clients updated on prescribed standards.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards.
• Manage treasury/investment functions for insurance clients and perform reconciliations.
• Handle insurance and claims accounting processes for captive clients.
• Prepare and review budgets, policies and protocols with clients and management.
• Prepare management/financial reporting to clients and statutory reporting to regulators.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Company.
