Job summary

Join Hanwha Ocean EPU as an Instrumentation Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience designing and developing instrumentation, control, and automation solutions for FPSO topside and offshore energy projects.

You will assist in preparing engineering deliverables, reviewing technical data, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, and commissioning phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering with related subjects on instrumentation and control or a related engineering discipline.
• Basic knowledge of instrumentation and control systems and understanding of process control fundamentals. Ability to support engineering tasks under supervision.
• Interest in FPSO topside, offshore, LNG, and energy transition projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand instrumentation and control engineering concepts and application in the execution of offshore oil and gas projects
• Support preparation and review of instrumentation engineering deliverables such as datasheets, specifications, calculations and other technical documentation.
• Support Field Instrumentation activities such as instrument selection, installation and hook‑up drawings and vendor document reviews.
• Support Control Systems activities such as preparation and review of control system architecture, I/O databases, system interfaces, and automation documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for interface alignment and technical issue resolution.
• Participate in design reviews, model reviews, technical discussions, and engineering coordination activities as applicable.
• Support engineering activities across concept, FEED and EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) phases.
