Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a maintenance/engineering professional to provide technical support for electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems in a chemical plant on Jurong Island. You will back maintenance and production teams, plan and execute plant improvement projects, and coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure safety, reliability, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Instrumentation, Electrical, Process Control or similar.
• 3–5 years experience in maintenance or engineering in relevant industry.
• Knowledge in E&I and Process Controls.
• Willingness to work in Jurong Island.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.
• Support maintenance and production teams in troubleshooting equipment issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Assist in planning and executing plant improvement, maintenance, and engineering projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to support project execution and maintenance activities.
• Monitor and improve the performance and reliability of electrical and instrumentation systems through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry practices and new technologies, and apply suitable improvements where beneficial.
• Support compliance with company safety, quality, environmental, and change management requirements.
• Provide guidance and training to maintenance and operations personnel on equipment, systems, and process changes.
• Participate in the plant's on-call rotation to provide technical support when required.
