Job summary

CTCI SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a senior Instrumentation & Control Lead to head on-site installation, testing, and commissioning for high-tech manufacturing facilities and semiconductor FAB projects.

You will coordinate with project managers, engineers and subcontractors, ensure adherence to drawings and specs, and drive safety, quality, and schedule on a 36-month contract in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electrical/Electronics/Automation or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in instrumentation, control systems, FMCS, or EPC construction projects.
• Proven experience leading and supervising instrumentation and control installation works on site.
• Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation devices including pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, flow meters, level instruments, and control valves.
• Familiar with PLC, DCS, SCADA, FMCS, control panels and instrumentation systems.
• Able to read and interpret P&IDs, instrument layout drawings, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
• Experience in manpower coordination, subcontractor supervision, installation inspection, testing and commissioning.
• Experience in semiconductor FABs, high-tech manufacturing facilities, cleanrooms, or industrial plants is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise installation of instrumentation and control systems.
• Oversee installation of instrument cabling, cable trays, junction boxes, panels, and related components.
• Ensure installations comply with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Monitor installation quality, workmanship and progress at site.
• Coordinate daily site activities and manpower to ensure timely completion.
• Interface with Project Managers, Engineers, and discipline leads to resolve issues.
• Read and interpret P&IDs and diagrams; coordinate interfaces with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and FMCS.
• Lead testing, commissioning and inspections with clients and vendors.
• Maintain safety and quality compliance and proper installation records.
